CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2014 British Machine Vision Conference is NOW CLOSED.

Useful information for delegates

Accommodation option: accommodation is in Newark Hall of Residence, which comprises a single study bedroom with en-suite bathroom facilities, and includes a full English breakfast. Internet access is available. This Hall is about two minutes walk from the main venue.

Check-in at Newark Hall is from 3pm, but they will be happy to take your luggage before this. Check-out on your day of departure is 10am

If you are arriving by car, please explain on the campus gate that you are here for BMVC 2014. Once you are on campus, please collect a parking permit from reception at Newark Hall and display it clearly in your windscreen. Cars without a permit are liable to receive a fine (and this is enforced). As a BMVC delegate, you can park on campus free of charge for the duration of the conference (whether or not you are staying in Halls accommodation) if you display a permit.

There is an optional social event on Thursday afternoon, following the conference: you will be able to get a guided tour through Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan manor house at walking distance from the campus that famously featured as Wayne manor in Batman - the Dark Knight Rises. You can book this using the same registration store.

Follow us on Twitter @BMVC2014 for conference updates, and travel information.
